The extraordinary story of EMMA Safety Footwear begun 90 years ago. With the miners of the EMMA State Mine. We started out as a specialised work shoe factory to produce supporting work shoes for miners. Now, 90 years later, at least 1000 people worldwide work on our products every day. A special kind of employment that we want to preserve for the long term. But EMMA continues to grow. From a brand new production site in Kerkrade to the acquisition of the Swedish company Hultafors Group AB. Together, we contribute to the responsible use of raw materials and energy and the sustainable employability of our people. At local and European level. For now and for future generations.
