Safety footwear is more than just a compulsory part of your workwear. It forms the basis for working safely and comfortably – day in, day out.
EMMA Safety Footwear develops safety footwear for a wide range of working environments. From logistics and light industry to construction, healthcare and field work. Every shoe is designed in accordance with the applicable European safety standards (based on EN ISO 20345:2022) and tested for protection, durability and comfort.

Safety as a guiding principle
Every pair of safety shoes complies with a specific safety standard, such as S1P, S2 or S3. This standard specifies the risks against which the shoes provide protection, for example against impact, sharp objects or moisture.

The right solution for every working environment
No two workplaces are the same. That is why the EMMA collection comprises various types of safety footwear, tailored to specific conditions.
For dry working environments
Do you work in a dry environment where protection against impacts and sharp objects is required? If so, you’ll often find yourself looking at safety standards such as S1P or S1PS. These shoes combine a protective toe cap with a puncture-resistant midsole and are suitable for use in, for example, warehouses, assembly lines and light industry.
For damp or wet conditions
In working environments where staff regularly come into contact with moisture, extra protection against wet conditions is important. Examples include the food industry, cleaning or outdoor work.
Footwear meeting safety standards such as S2, S3 and S3S has been developed for these types of environments. They combine impact protection (protection against falling objects) with materials suitable for working in damp conditions. S3 and S3S also offer extra protection against sharp objects on the floor.
When a protective nose guard is not required
Not every working environment requires impact protection. In such cases, O2 and O3 work shoes without a protective toe cap are the ideal solution. These models combine comfort and grip.

From sporty to smart
Safety needn’t come at the expense of style. The EMMA collection features a range of styles, from sturdy work boots and classic designs to sporty safety trainers.
We also stock smart business safety footwear. These combine a professional look with comprehensive safety features. They are suitable for both office and field work and are ideal for roles where a smart appearance and protection go hand in hand.
The right fit makes all the difference
Safety footwear only provides proper protection if it fits well. That is why EMMA safety footwear has been developed using different lasts and is available in a range of widths, such as D (standard), XD (wide fit) and XXD (extra-wide).
As well as standard lasts, there are also models designed for specific foot shapes. For example, there is a narrow width, SD, for feet with less width and volume. This narrow last is not only ideal for women, but also for men with small feet. The SD last is tailored to the anatomy of a smaller foot, with different proportions between the heel, midfoot and forefoot. In some models, smaller sizes are produced on a narrower last as standard. This ensures a better fit and provides greater stability whilst wearing the shoes.
